A managing partner of the firm, David M.
Findling has over 20 years of experience
addressing debtor-creditor issues and serving
as a receiver in state, federal, and bankruptcy
courts. He also specializes in serving as
the assignee in assignments for the benefit
of creditors. Mr. Findling has operated and
administered commercial entities of all types,
including office buildings, condominium developments,
gas stations, hotels, mini-storage facilities,
and apartments. Annually, his office administers
over $50 million in assets. Mr. Findling
is also the author of "The
Enforcer," a
monthly column on enforcement issues in the
State Bar of Michigan's "Michigan Family
Law Journal." He frequently lectures on insolvency and bankruptcy issues and on
the collection and enforcement of child support.
In 2000, "Michigan Lawyers Weekly" named
him "Lawyer of the Year" for his
work as receiver. A graduate of the Detroit
College of Law, Mr. Findling is licensed
in Michigan and Massachusetts.

Served
as prosecutor/Receiver in criminal contempt
trial. The trial court held that the attorney
committed criminal contempt based on a series
of violations, including: “violations
of the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct,
committing perjury, affirmatively lying to
the court and lying to the court by omission,
violating court orders, and failing to deliver
and fully account for the funds at issue.” The
trial court sentenced the attorney to two
days in jail, a fine in the amount of $7,500,
and attorney fees. See In re Contempt of

Chosen
as Assignee for the Benefit of Creditors
in case involving $300 million dollar Ponzi
scheme. Administration of assignment estate
and initiated over 300 fraudulent transfer
recovery actions |

Chosen
as Enforcement columnist for Michigan Bar
Association, Family Law Journal |
|
Appointed
as Receiver in divorce/probate action extending
over 20 years. Case involved 21 Circuit Court
Judges, over 30 appeals to the Michigan Court
of Appeals, Michigan Supreme Court and 6th
Circuit Court of Appeals. Resolved issues
before Court and consummated sale of assets
of Receivership estate. See McCormick v.
